Every day, After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles (ASAS-LA) helps thousands of young people access opportunities that support academic success, personal growth, and lifelong achievement. By providing free, high quality after school programs to students with the greatest needs and fewest resources, we partner with schools and communities to educate, enlighten, and inspire the next generation to succeed in school and in life.

This school year, volunteers from local companies shared their time, expertise, and experiences through workplace visits, career panels, workshops, school supply drives, and other enrichment opportunities that inspired students to explore their future possibilities.

Our All-Stars planted their first plants and are excited to care for them, watch them grow, and see what blooms. Gardening gives our students a hands-on way to explore plant growth, responsibility, patience, and teamwork while learning more about the natural world around them.🌿
